Welcome back to school.  I hope you are excited about another great school year at Slidell Junior High School.  Remember that our grading scale in Junior High is based on points.  It is important for students to complete and turn in all work.  In grades prior to Junior High, if a student made 100 on one assignment and did not do another assignment resulting in a zero, the grades would be an A and an F averaging to a C.  In Junior High, the same grades result in a 50 - F average.  I will be working with your student to get assignments completed but late assignments do have a penalty.

Remember to send your student with needed supplies everyday.  Pencils, paper, notebook, etc., please resupply as needed.
